After his BA in Economy and Statistics at Tel-Aviv University, Itzik started his career as one of the first computer programmers in Israel, in the early 1960’s, and soon became the chief data scientist in the newly founded PORI. In 1999, he became managing director of PORI. Along the years, his job turned into passion, and he was lucky to become one of the founders of social research in the world. Itzik spent many years as Israel’s representative in ESOMAR. When not working, Itzik turns to his second job, being grandfather to five young children.
Nirit joined PORI in 2018, after collaborating with the company since 2010. She holds an MA in neuroscience and an MBA, and has also studied psychology, sociology, and epidemiology. She has over 30 years of experience in various research fields, from public opinion to environmental issues such as analysis of trash cans’ contents. When not working, she enjoys carpentry and food gardening in her Jaffa community orchard.
Bhecor’s original field was Electric Engineering, and he holds a BA in Management. He has over 20 years of experience in research, starting as a face to face interviewer. For the last 15 years, he has been managing everything that has to do with fieldwork, juggling several projects and over 100 interviewers and supervisors. On his (very limited) free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife and four children.
