In 1966, Rafael E. Gill, a research executive on Madison Avenue that had recently returned to Israel, put together a team that would become Israel’s first public opinion / marketing research firm. The offices chosen for the company were adjacent to one of the only companies that provided computerized services, and several people made their living punching IBM cards with data from interviews.
As time passed, technology, as well as methodology, developed rapidly. Mr. Gill passed away in 1999, but his partner since 1971, Itzik Rozenblum, continued to carry out his legacy: always be the first, but keep the good stuff from the past.
Nowadays, PORI is a full-service company that specializes in adjusting multi-national research to the Israeli society and environment. We partner with our clients from study development to final reporting stages.
